A spectacular location for short breaks, or family holidays. The Cabins, Loch Awe, in Argyll, Scotland, offers cosy log cabin holidays with the comforts of home. A choice of a 2 or 3 bedroom cabin with optional Log Burning Hot Tub. We have a cabin to cater for everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing escape.
Located next to the friendly village of Dalavich, The Cabins, Loch Awe is a perfect place to explore Argyll and the west coast of Scotland,or just relax and take in the stunning surroundings of Loch Aweside Forest Park. We warmly welcome families with children of all ages and are dog friendly.
The Cabins can be accessed by car, and public transport. A picturesque drive from Glasgow Airport takes around 2h20m and from Edinburgh Airport 2h50m.
Dalavich has great amenities where local residents cook up wonderful home delights at the Wild Rowan Cafe & Shop and the Loch View Bar and Grill restaurant.(Opening days and times vary throughout the year). A Playground for the children and laundrette are also at the village community centre. All only a 5 minute walk from The Cabins.
Loch Awe is home to some of Scotland's premier wildlife, birdlife and fishing. Pine Martin, Red Squirrel, Osprey nesting nearby, Golden Eagle and Sea Eagle. Red, Roe and Sikka deer are all common in the area. Your cabin rental offers free fishing on Scotland's premier wild fishing Loch which is home to the World's largest Ferox Trout! There are many walks and trails to explore on foot or bike with Avich Falls only 1.5 miles away.

​Amazing stay wish we could have stayed longer. Was well equipped even for the children with plastic plates etc. The view was amazing and the area was just second to none. We have went to a fair few cabins about Scotland and this was by far our favourite. Hosts also amazing and Jane the hot tub lady made the kids day letting them watch her set it all up. 5/5

A beautiful location nestled by Loch Awe. The Cabin was very comfortable and well equipped with all ones needs. The surrounding area was worth exploring including a magical wood where the trees were covered in moss. The Community Club on site had a very welcoming staff and served excellent pizzas.Enjoyable experience all round. 5/5

Absolutely fantastic stay over Christmas. The host was amazing even had a Christmas tree up for us and a wee bottle.

If looking for a lodge trip this is the one! Cabin was fantastic. Nicely spacious, warm, clean, and well placed near the loch and several other scenic areas. Lots of walks, the village next to the lodges is full of colourful houses and the friendliest people. when we showed up it was late and dark, owner of the cabins was both lovely and super helpful on the phone in guiding us to where we needed to be! Only a short drive to various other walks, a sea you can fish in, or the castle. Thank you so much guys, we will be back! :) 5/5
