We stayed there for 3 nights 4 adults it really was a home from home the Wi-Fi was excellent the cabin was spotless the beds were very comfortable everything you need is in the cabin will be definitely staying here again I’ve stayed in a lot of cabins but this one tops the bill.

Located next to the friendly village of Dalavich, The Cabins, Loch Awe is a perfect place to explore Argyll and the west coast of Scotland,or just relax and take in the stunning surroundings of Loch Aweside Forest Park. We warmly welcome families with children of all ages and are dog friendly.
The Cabins can be accessed by car, and public transport. A picturesque drive from Glasgow Airport takes around 2h20m and from Edinburgh Airport 2h50m.
We stayed for three days over New Year. Cabin was spotless and location was great. 5 minutes stroll to social club and shore of loch. Weather was wet but mild, which meant we could go lots of lovely walks with the dog. We went to social club to bring in the new year and also again on the afternoon of the 1st. Entertainment was fab. DJ for the new year and on the 1st, it was an open mic with lots of great musicians. Everyone was so friendly as well.

Location is fabulous. Our second visit to Dalavich although our dog's first trip to Scotland. Perfect place to chill out for a few days and enjoy the sound of silence. Hot tub got a lot of use from the kids - they loved it.

Dalavich has great amenities where local residents cook up wonderful home delights at the Wild Rowan Cafe & Shop and the Loch View Bar and Grill restaurant.(Opening days and times vary throughout the year). A Playground for the children and laundrette are also at the village community centre. All only a 5 minute walk from The Cabins.
Loch Awe is home to some of Scotland's premier wildlife, birdlife and fishing. Pine Martin, Red Squirrel, Osprey nesting nearby, Golden Eagle and Sea Eagle. Red, Roe and Sikka deer are all common in the area. Your cabin rental offers free fishing on Scotland's premier wild fishing Loch which is home to the World's largest Ferox Trout! There are many walks and trails to explore on foot or bike with Avich Falls only 1.5 miles away.
Bike, boat and fishing tackle hire are all available locally.
Well this is becoming an annual trip to the Cabin with our first stay back in 2017. We have thought about trying somewhere different but we keep returning as we always have such a great time, we know it’s well equipped and we are still finding different things to do. It’s very remote and and perfect for getting away from it all. Kids love the hot tub and the cabin is really comfortable, becoming a home from home.
This time round we took bikes with us. We biked up Glen Lonan (starts in Taynult) - amazing views back to Ben Cruachan and we cycled up to a place called Angus’s Garden - a serene memorial garden nestled in the hills with a Loch and woodland walks.
